Extreme Scripter

According to the original definition developed by Bill Inmon, the Data Warehousing systems are Read-Only. They have been designed to be subject to periodical load processes which update a massive amount of information by pre-calculating indexes and aggregations, adjusting fields values and gathering information from different sources in a single repository center for analysis.

Considering this architecture as ideal in the business world, changes occur very more frequently than any other load process. The ideal for companies is that for an analytical and unchanged data repository, room for the necessary modifications without being dependent from IT area is recommended.

The eXtreme Scripting is the Stone AgeTech response to this need. Using this product, the data repository managers may award the users the permit to modify some pre-defined variables on a database. Hence, working variables whose value update is made upon powerful scripts of logical mathematics expressions are created.

On using these working variables, analysts can test models and segmentation rules for data, and save the results of their analysis and calculations in a variable, to be consulted, calculated or recovered later as any other.

The Stone AgeTech’s customers  are fully freedom concerning the load process and IT departments, and may handle the information more efficiently without submitting special requirements to change load processes when they simply want to change the calculation formula of a credit score, for instance.
