Migalhas de Luz

Founded on April 8, 1991, the Migalhas NGO is dedicated to support to less favorable persons. Located in Engenheiro Pedreira, district of Japeri, in the City of Rio de Janeiro, it is ranked in the last position of all development and life quality indexes in the State of Rio de Janeiro, consequently there is a lot to be done.

Aware of this situation, we have decided for financial contributions, and at the end of each year, we donate Christmas gift (complete set of clothes for children of 2 to 13 years old), and basic-needs grocery packages.

The work spectrum of Migalhas da Luz NGO goes from support to the adolescent mother, who needs support and guidance for a good pregnancy, learning how to correctly care the baby, and the elderly who needs support to learn and accept the difficulties and limitations resulted from the age. The NGO, whose main focus is the children of all ages, encourages, guides and supports their intellectual, cultural and social development.
